Why is plug aeration important?
There are several benefits of plug aeration including:
- Increased root strength
- Increased overall lawn health by allowing air, water, and nutrients to penetrate the soil
- Boosted effectiveness of fertilization
- A lush and healthy lawn with full grass growth
- Protection against damage from insects, plant disease, and drought effects
- Better drainage to reduce yard flooding
When should I aerate my lawn?
For best results, aeration should occur during the active growing seasons of spring and fall. This is especially important if your lawn faces heavy foot traffic or drainage issues.
How short will you cut my grass?
While mowing your lawn short might seem like a good idea because you can go longer between mows, this allows weeds to invade the lawn and can cause heat stress in the hot summer months, resulting in lawn diseases. We recommend mowing your lawn no shorter than 3.5".
How can a well-landscaped property help sell my home?
The landscaping is often the first details prospective buyers see. When you have attractive and well-maintained lawns, it adds curb appeal and makes it more welcoming.
